Hey, I know alot of you dont like Prejudice, and Brink was a bust so far. But just curious on what games any of you are play or will be playing.

also What systems do you have? Am i the only one who plays PS3 and xbox as well as pc?

Been playing Battlefield2 again on ps3 and getting kinda good be nice to clan bash some snipers.(even tho i snipe too lol)

getting more and more data errors at random
crc errors extracting files etc

Ahh ATI Im never buying ati again, it seems like every game you have to find a fix for the GPU's and they overheat like a mo fo. I have 2 3870's and I can get only 1 decent game in before the framerate and gameplay start going crap. I having some new thermal paste and copper shield put in which is suppose to help

Mostly Prej. Did get Killing Floor other day in rage. (Swarm type FPS with zombies) Was £10 with bundle of stuff at half price on Steam.
May start TF2 (as have from Orange Box and now got Pooter and connection that can handle it)
Also waiting to see what Warhammer Space Marine FPS will be like. I mentioned before. Irony that the chapter of marines are the Angels Of Death.

I have a ps3, 360, wii and two pc's currently playing white knight chronicles 2 on the ps3 and prejudice/assassins creed brotherhood ont he pc (with smatterings of terraria and minecraft)

Haven't touched the 360 since I bought and finished Majin and the forsaken kingdom 4 months ago.

Also, if this is going to devolve into a specs thread I might as well throw my hand in

The older one is mainly used by my girlfriend when she is here or as a server box for section 8, 32 player super swarm matches on devils backbone were fun.

Then again my old one is an single 2.4Gh running a copy of a copy of a copy of XP pro. With a MAHOOOSIVE 128mb graphics. Its a bit of a frankenstein. made from repatriated parts from a electronics recylcing place my brother worked at. Did have a 64mb MMX card that lacked all the things needed to play games, like pixel shader etc. Not really sure why they made that card as it was not supported on any game. After 3rd attempt to use it I read back of game and saw warning that card was not supported. Then saw it was on all other game boxes aswell. Doh

Collectively in our house we have PS2, Wii, PSP, 2 nintendo DS's, 1 Nintendo SD, 2 gamebot pockets, 1 original gameboy and a Nintendo 64. And havent used most of them in over 3 years. (PSP on journeys)

yeah i7's are getting abit dated, 2600k series better
and leaked 8 core hyper threded to 16 core cpu was on ebay a month ago

im still using a standard quad core, does the job

heh, there is a reason it is my "old" one, one of my friends wanted help putting together a PC so I started trying to get a rough pricing together for her. She never ended up getting back to me about it but looking at all the bits I had a bit of an unhealthy urge to build another one. as I still live at home and am only forking out about $60 a week in expenses I could afford to.

Its all well and good having faster chips. Just a shame that most domestic software doesn't really need it. And as for games, hell, S8 may have well been in console 16bit format. Playability and stayability.
Also I went on NVidia website few months before buying game PC. They were advertising commercially available pre-build 'super' computers. Vaguely remember it saying something along lines of 280 cores. Wonder if it could handle a 200 player S8 game!!! Would be mental.
I generally zone out all detail when playing. also part of the issue I have with using Vent. I forget to speak as concentrating on what I see. Also why I tend not to notice GFWL message or Steam chat pop ups.
I even played S8 for first 3 months with graphics set to 1. Was only after a few updates and getting HDD replaced and reloading game that game set itself to 4. LOL, always wondered what the brown stick things were. They were trees!!!!. Although was a pain as can shoot through trees but the leaves obscure visibilty of enemy on other side. I did reduce back to 2 but kept resetting higher so just gave up changing.
